Valeriya Bauer
Valeriya specializes in trauma therapy and attachment-focused therapy. She teaches her clients to access and feel their emotions using TRM and somatic-based methods. Her approach addresses excessive thinking, connecting with one’s body/sensations, and unpacking various types of traumas. Valeriya teaches clients to create more attuned, secure relationships balanced with compassionate self-care. By not only listening but truly hearing and seeing you, Valeriya can help you create actionable steps and movement toward emotional healing and freedom.
​An experienced business owner, Valeriya understands the challenges of navigating a healthy work/life balance in the corporate world. She helps clients find meaning and purpose away from the competitive day-to-day grind and toxic work environments. Valeriya is well-versed in career theory and enjoys helping clients create desirable career transitions and outcomes.

Valeriya is also passionate about helping individuals create nurturing relationships with themselves and those around them. She has helped many clients unpack and transform relational patterns by focusing on increasing sense of self-worth, breaking the shame/guilt cycles, cultivating healthy love, and creating deeper and more meaningful connections. Valeriya enjoys teaching about boundaries, healthy communication, and secure attachment. Valeriya has a background in family therapy and working with children ages 0-3 using a relationship-based model.
​Valeriya graduated with honors at the top of her class, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UCLA (Cum Laude) and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University (Psi Chi). She is certified in Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM)® Levels 1 & 2, and is trained in mindfulness, EMDR, DBT, and ILF Neurofeedback. She also holds a certification as an ACE Personal Trainer and uses a holistic approach that incorporates mind and body wellness. Beginning her therapy career in mediation and conflict resolution, Valeriya also has experience and training in crisis management, family therapy, and child development.
